Tired.
That’s all you are right now.
Tired of yearning.
Tired of crying.
Tired of pretending.
The only thing you’ve ever really wanted is the one thing you can never have.
Him.
If someone had told you that you’d fall for a fictional character, you’d have called them insane.
And yet, here you are.
Broken and miserable because of the hard, terrible truth that’s been plaguing you every waking moment.
Him.
That’s all you want.
Just him.
Just his arms around you.
Just his hands in your hair.
Just his voice in your ear as he comforts you.
Just his lips pressed tenderly to yours.
You lose yourself in a daydream, only to slam back to Earth a few minutes later.
With each fall, your heart is bruised a little.
Because he isn’t real.
He never was.
He never will be.
He can never hold you or return your love.
And that horrible fact has been driving you mad.
How can you come back from this?
How can you get closure?
How could you ever move on?
You don’t want to move on.
You just want him.
